Privacy Policy

NFC Passkey Manager (“the App”) is provided by VivoKey Technologies (“we,” “us,” or “our”). The App lets you manage passkey credentials on an NFC security key (list credentials, change the token PIN, and delete selected credentials). We do not collect, share, or sell any personal or sensitive user data.

1) No Data Collection

• We do not collect, store, or process any personal information.
• We do not collect analytics, usage statistics, crash reports, or device identifiers.
• We do not transmit any data to our servers or to third parties. The App has no cloud or account system.

2) Local Processing Only

All operations occur locally on your device and NFC security key:

• The App reads credential metadata from your NFC security key (for example, relying party/domain, username/handle, credential ID) only to display it to you.
• This information is not copied off the device, not persisted, and not transmitted. It is used only in memory to show your list and perform your requested actions.
• When you choose to change your token PIN or delete a credential, those actions are executed directly on your NFC key via NFC.

3) Permissions We Use

• NFC: Required to communicate with your NFC security key.

We do not use permissions for location, contacts, microphone, camera, storage, or Bluetooth. If future versions add optional features that require additional permissions, this policy will be updated before release.

4) Advertising, Analytics, and Third-Party SDKs

• No advertising.
• No analytics.
• No third-party SDKs that collect data.

5) Children’s Privacy

The App is a utility for managing security keys and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).

6) Data Sharing and Sale

• We do not share, sell, or rent data to anyone.
• We have nothing to share because we do not collect any data.

7) Security

Because the App does not send data anywhere and does not create cloud accounts, there is no user data in our custody. All sensitive operations occur locally between your device and your NFC key.

8) International Transfers

None. We do not transfer data internationally (or anywhere).

9) Changes to This Policy

If our practices change (for example, if we add optional online features), we will update this policy and the “Effective date” above. Material changes will be highlighted in the App description or within the App.
